Businesses can search by species, ingredient type, services, or industry to find the right partners—whether producing, processing, or purchasing kelp-based ingredients and materials.

Seaweed Source connects buyers and sellers across the regenerative seaweed supply chain. You’ll find products and services for every stage of development, from raw materials to refined ingredients and processing support.
Listings include a wide range of seaweed species like sugar kelp, skinny kelp, bull kelp, giant kelp, alaria, and more—available in multiple formats including cut, milled, blanched, pureed, powdered, flaked, or whole. Suppliers also offer materials in various stabilities, like dried, fresh, frozen, fermented, ensiled, and refined forms.
In addition, many suppliers provide processing services such as blanching, chemical stabilization, cleaning and sorting, drying or dehydration, extraction, fermentation, freezing, milling, and size reduction.

At this time, we’re accepting seaweed companies and partners who meet the following criteria:
‣ Located in the United States or Canada
‣ Currently selling, processing, or purchasing ocean-farmed seaweed, seed, or ingredients commercially
‣ Processors and buyers: open to forward contracts, looking to purchase or process 1,000+ wet lbs within 1-2 years
‣ Nurseries and farmers: active permits, producing with intent to sell commercially within 1 year
